And now 3 days...

As I've been working on the blog today, I've only gotten through pictures from the day Hadassah was born!
Reminded me of this scene from the movie Enchanted:
Robert: How long you been together?
Giselle: Oh, about a day.
R: You mean it feels like a day because you're so in love.
G: No, it's been a day.
R: You're kidding me. A day? One day?
G: Yes. And tomorrow it will be two days.

Hadassah Pearl

Hadassah is from the biblical book of Esther, whose real name is Hadassah. 2:7 says that Hadassah was

a young lady beautiful of form and face.

She was a woman of character and courage who became queen and saved her people from destruction.
And in God's perfect timing, March 20, 2011 was Purim (the celebration of that deliverance written about in chapter 9)!
The week before with Corban and Abigail, we read the story of Esther, went to a Purim story and craft time (they made noise-makers--just what this house needed!!), watched the VeggieTales movie, did color/activity pages and made hamantaschen cookies!

Pearl is my Grandma's middle name
(and was her mom's first name).
Granny is 86 years old and hand-stitched and hand-quilted this beautiful baby blanket for Hadassah!

Tick-Tock

March 13th (my due date) came and went,
and so has Pi Day (3/14) and Ides of March (3/15).
While I know that due dates are an approximate time frame, I haven't gone past my due date before (Corban was 5 days early and Abigail 1 day early) and with this being my 3rd pregnancy I really thought baby would be early (there was even a time when I wondered if she would have a February birthday!).
But I'm still pregnant and feeling good!
Almost every night, baby girl is very active and I have some contractions and go to bed wondering if tonight is the night.
Chris answers my phone calls, "are we having a baby?" and Corban and Abigail talk to, kiss, and rub my belly/baby every day.
We are all ready, just waiting for our precious baby to be ready!
