D is for Dinosaur

dino window clings

we went to the park with Corban, Abigail, and a Dinosaur's footprint for some measuring.
A T-Rex was 40 feet long (from the white line to where Corban is standing!).

We looked through a dinosaur book, picked different ones and had relay's pretending to be dinosaurs

(quack for a duck billed one, slither for a short-legged lizard type, roar for a T-rex, flap arms for wings of a Teradactyl, walk on all 4's for a Triceratops).

Friday night, we had Dinosaur Dinner with dinosaur eggs (mini-corn dogs and kiwi), lava (ketchup), bones (cheese stick), trees (broccoli) and a mud pit (chocolate pudding with crushed cookies)!

Seven Months

Hadassah is 7 months!
19 lbs. and 27 in.
Hadassah is doing really well with eating. Feeding herself, opening her mouth for a spoon and nursing. She has just started the green foods as she tests fruits and veggies. And her 2 front, bottom teeth are fully in.

Hadassah is also a great sleeper...except in her crib! She naps well during the day and usually 7 hours at night, but prefers the pack'n'play, Mommy's lap, Daddy's shoulder, or in the sling!

Hadassah is fast at crawling and has mastered both sitting up on her knees and on her bottom. She loves to pull up to standing on EVERYthing (toy kitchen, sofa, bed, bath tub, my legs!). Hadassah has even started to "cruise" along the sofa!

She loves to babble and giggle and is full of smiles!
Hadassah Pearl is such a joy, has an amazing personality and makes us all smile!
she heard Corban and Abigail playing and quickly crawled in to watch their game!

Gone Fishin'

Saturday afternoon, Chris and Corban had a daddy day and went to the
IGFA Family Fishing Day!
They had a behind the scenes tour (with a friend that works there) of the office and museum and saw all kinds of world-record huge fish.

Corban caught some fish on a simulated deep-sea fishing boat
and then did some real fishing outside (but did not catch anything).
