In CC Foundations, the girls classes joined for building a bridge and then testing how much weight it could hold during science!

Ms. Christa's class preparing for their egg drop experiement (Newton's 1st law of motion!).
Corban and Abigail learned about Genghis Khan and the Mongolians, Russia and the 2 Ivans, The Black Death and Renaissance, Joan of Arc, fall of Constantinople, and Ancient western Africa in History.
In Science, Corban and Abigail studied Venus, Earth, the moon, and Mars.

Hadassah finished the Old Testament part of her Bible reader and notebook and began the New Testament.  She continues to study a Proverb each week and she really likes her Math book and will often do a few lessons per day!

Hadassah is 6!

Hadassah's birthday dinner choice- Chili's for macaroni and cheese and quesadillas!

Mommy and Hadassah wore unicorn's for her birthday!

Last night as a 5 year old!

Hadassah came to Mommy one nighti, the week before her birthday, in tears because she really liked being 5 and didn't know if she wanted to be 6!

A couple days after her birthday, Hadassah said, "I don't feel different.  Six seems like five and I like it!"

A couple days before her birthday, Hadassah fell while trying to ride Abigail's bicycle and got a black eye.  I took these after I saw her winking and making faces at herself in the mirror.  I asked what she was doing and she said, "Trying to see all the colors my eye is today."  When I showed her the pictures, Hadassah excitedly said, "It is so beautiful!  It is like a mermaid- all purple and blue and green!"

Mermaid Swim Party

Hadassah wanted a birthday party this year and chose a mermaid theme!  She invited six friends (but the day of there were some cancelations) and had a wonderful time with her friends, sister and brothers!

Lots of monarch caterpillars!  We saw where 3 chrysalis formed.  Only 1 made it to a butterfly, but we saw that one just after it emerged flying near the milkweed!

A friend asked for Corban's book recommendations (for Corban's friend), and he took the request very seriously and made out a list!

I love watching the four of them together play and talking, and glimpsing what amazing friendships they will continue to have as they grow up!
