Three Months

Hadassah is Three Months Old!
14.8 pounds
25.5 inches

Hadassah is
healthy (sleeping and eating well) and strong (enjoying sitting in the bumbo chair, very close to rolling over, and holding things in her hand), happy (she is always smiling and giggling and is finding her voice as she babbles more, she is completely content with me holding her and watching/listening to everything around her) and beautiful (she is precious and has such a sweet personality, and the little vein on the bridge of her nose--just like Corban and Abigail!!--has clearly appeared!)

Up, up, and Away

We surprised Daddy with a Discovery Flight for Father's Day!
After brief instruction, Chris went on a flight leaving from the Pompano Beach Airpark, over the beach and ocean and then west over the Everglades. He even flew the plane for part of take off and in the air! It was a 4 seat plane and Corban got to go along with Daddy on the ride! They were in the air for about 30 minites.

Daddy and Corban had fun!
Corban quickly learned he could both hear himself and be heard with his headset and entertained with songs and stories during the flight.

We LOVE Daddy!!!

Abigail picked out the flavor, chose the shirt and tie colors and helped decorate Daddy's cake!

Superheroes

We were SUPER excited to pick up our HERO at the airport!

Giggling Girls

"I'm going to work"
Abigail missed not having her best friend at home. She frequently asked me what Corban was doing at school, told me she was going to pick up him up and talking for Hadassah said, "Where's my big brother? I miss him." But she is also having fun requesting activities for "just the girls"!
One morning, Corban gave Abigail a sticker and said, "I gave you that sticker because I love you and so you can remember that when I'm at school today" (he gave Mommy one too!).

A Gentleman and a Scholar

We picked out Corban's clothes and have them in an organizer in his closet for each day of the week, we've been reading The Kissing Hand, lunch bag and backpack are ready, special breakfast, 0 days on the countdown, bathroom mirror decorated, note for the bag written (decorated with stickers and a simple message I know he'll be able to read all on his own)...we are ready for Corban's first day of preschool!

Corban had a great first day!
He is attending the summer VPK (voluntary prekindergarten) program at Baby Boomers International School. There are 11 children (9 boys/2 girls) in his class and they have Art, Spanish, Math, English, outside play, and lunch every day (he said his favorite today was lunch!).

Safari

We went to Lion Country Safari!
It was a great park with a huge drive-through safari (very slowly, in your own car, with air conditioning, listening to a CD they give you about all the animals you see!)with animals all over!
An ostrich and herd of some sort of little deer crossed the road in front of us, zebra and donkeys were eating right next to the van, and we saw all sorts of animals playing and resting.

this giraffe walked over to our car and looked in though the sun roof!

Then we went into the amusement area of the park to see more animals, eat lunch and go on some rides.
