One Month

Hadassah is a happy baby and a wonderful part of our family!
She sleeps well (2-4 hours at a time, shorter naps during day and longer at night), snores (pretty loudly!), is healthy, likes to be held, nurses really well, but also spits up quite a bit (I'm on my 4th shirt of the day because she has a talent for missing the burp cloth and getting my left shoulder), and still has her newborn cry.
Hadassah's hair is turning blonde underneath and she talks with squeaks, Oohh's and Aahh's. She has soft smooth skin, beautiful blue eyes, sweet milk breath, and the BEST toothless smiles! One Month

Comedy Team

I love this face!
Corban and Abigail are both really funny and make us laugh all the time! Corban likes to be silly and has a great imagination. He is also very literal and if you tell him he's silly he will usually reply with, "no, I'm serious." Abigail's humor is more natural, often completely uncaring of whether she has an audience and just to entertain herself! She is quite the actress and we've found she can both laugh and cry on cue (or whim!).
How Corban came to tell me he was ready for bed one night!

Corban has always been very orderly and likes to help clean...so vacuuming is fun for him - something that I definitely don't want to stifle! So, last weekend we bought a cordless/hand-held vacuum... GREAT purchase because now after meals instead of me sweeping, Corban and Abigail remind me who's turn it is to vacuum!

Gymnast

Corban and Abigail started gymnastics again this week!
They were both so excited and had a great time the first day. This was the first session that Abigail has been in a class on her own (not Mommy-and-me) and their classes are at the same time. Abigail jumping and Corban (with dark blue shirt) in the background

Time Out

Corban and Abigail LOVE, love, love their baby sister!
They both want to hold, touch, help, hug, see (for Abigail that only counts if Hadassah is looking back at her), sing and talk to her. Hadassah has started talking back with "Aahh" and "Oohh"! The first time was with Corban when he kept asking her "What's your count number?" (meaning: "how high can you count?").
Today, when we went to run an errand they both asked to bring along a baby doll. Corban also had a "diaper bag" ready for his "in case she gets poopy"!
The adjustment has gone really well for all of us to a family of five. But we have had to be more consistent in discipline again over the last couple weeks with Corban and Abigail. So, there have been several of these moments:
(she chose to include standing on a stool!)

Abigail LOVES her soft "pink blanket" (and thinks its funny when I tell her its really brown and polka dot)!

She must have it brown side up to sleep, so I flipped it for the picture. Kathy made Hadassah 2 smaller blankies with the same polka dot fabric!
