Happy New Year

We went to a "Countdown to Noon" playdate during the day!  

The girls had a fun time making noise-makers, throwing confetti, counting down and toasting with apple juice.
While the boys had fun on the playground!

That evening at home, we ate our cupcake clock, 

 had a fire and went swimming, 

continued our shaving cream tradition,

 
lit sparklers and threw pop-its, 

 toasted with sparkling juice and the final cupcake ("midnight" was at 10:00!),

and then, after much giggling together, these 3 were asleep before the start of 2015!

December school

After 6 weeks of anatomy focus in science at CC, 

Corban and Abigail assembled their life-size bodies on the last day.

Classical Conversations is on winter break until mid January, 

but we continued our schoolwork at home.

In History we studied NH, VA, NY, NC, RI, VT, TN and KY
