Watching you, watching me

Abigail with Uncle Mikey

The Uncowardly Lion

As I was moving some things out of Abigail's closet (she has more clothes than I do!), Corban spied his lion costume and wanted to put it on. He was so adorable I had to share some pictures.

This was my favorite picture!

So sweet!

Corban finally tuckered out completely at dinner on Friday night
(he has on his new Nemo swim shorts that he HAD to wear that night!).

so happy together!

Day at the pool

Friday we spent most of the afternoon at the pool at my parent's hotel. The weather was beautiful and we had the pool to ourselves!

Corban's big adventure

Thursday Corban went to Disney World
with Grandma and Grandpa!
Corban spent Wednesday night at the hotel with Grandma and Grandpa so they could get an early start the next morning!
Paw-paw and Corban at Magic Kingdom

big hug and smile with PlutoCorban's quite the negotiator and Grandma and Grandpa were happy to indulge...so they rode the merry-go-round (and Dumbo, and Nemo!!) twice!
We'd said that Corban might burn out after lunch but he was still going strong. In fact, he did great and never got fussy. So, they went over to Epcot and made a full day at the parks! He was still singing "It's a small world" on the drive home!
Since they were coming back late Corban spent another night with Grandparents at the hotel.
Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a quiet day at home with Abigail, and were even able to sleep in Friday morning!

Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa Werneke came to visit us!
We all had a great time together!

Grandmother and Granddad

We were welcomed home by Grandmother and Grandad Pendrak, Caleb, and then Corban woke up soon after we got home.

Abigail was born at 9:26 p.m. on September 16th. We spent the night at the Birthing Cottage and then came home the next morning.

9.16.08 -- Corban's Day

I got pictures from the grandparents camera so wanted to share some of them from last week...
While Chris and I were at the Winter Park Birthing Cottage waiting for little Abigail to arrive, Corban had a fun day with Aunt Jenn, Grandmother, and Granddad.

What's in a name?

Abigail is from 1 Samuel 25 and means "father's joy or delight"

"...name was Abigail. And the woman was intelligent and beautiful in appearance..."
--1 Samuel 25:3
