No place like home...

Back to Munchkin Land!

Off to see the Wizard

Last night, Chris surprised me with tickets to see The Wizard of Oz!
We got dressed up, went out on a date without our munchkins (thanks Aunt Jenn!), and the play was super.

Uncle Randy had a conference in Orlando and was able to add a couple days to his trip to spend time with us! One afternoon we went to the park and then Friday we spent the morning at the Orlando Science Center

One Month (and a couple days!)

Isn't this picture great?!?! I love it!
Just look at that beautiful girl with the adorable smile.
Abigail is a month old already!
She is 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 19 in. of wonderful.
She is such a good baby and we are certainly blessed with two terrific, healthy, amazing children!

Toddler Perspective

Corban likes things to be organized. Don't misunderstand, to the untrained eye it can still look like toys strewn across his room. Its a trait he gets from me...organized doesn't always mean neat! This is how he likes to arrange his toys sometimes, in a perfectly straight line, he calls it a "train."
This afternoon Corban had fun in the backyard chasing Caleb with the hose!

I've also been reminded that to a 2 yearold words only have one meaning (he doesn't understand homonyms just yet). When we were at the petting farm last weekend Corban was riding on Chris's shoulders and as we were leaving through the gate he told Corban to "duck"...it worked out and Corban acutally did "duck" because he was leaning over to see the ground and asking "where's duck?". Then today when Corban was asking me for the 5th time in a row "what time is it"and I asked "Corban, do you think we should get you a watch?" He thought about it and then said "Robinson's, not Nemo" (translation: "Great idea Mom! I'd like to watch The Robinson's, not Finding Nemo").

Silly Boy

I'd been taking pictures of Abigail and then saw Corban sitting so cute in the chair with his two favorites, Nemo and Dory, so I snapped this picture...then I asked if he'd smile so I could take another and he gave me a silly face...

and then a cheese smile face!!

Great-Granddaddy made this crib years ago for Uncle Mikey and Daddy!

First Haircut

Sunday afternoon Corban had his first haircut!
Mommy trimmed off the long pieces

Look at this handsome big boy!!!
all the guys had their hair either cut or trimmed

Granny and Granddaddy

After our visit to the farm, Saturday we headed down to Avon Park to visit Great-Granddaddy and Granny and introduce them to their newest great-granddaughter!

G
randdaddy joked that we'd sure miss Abigail when we had to go back to Orlando...but we managed to bring her home with us, and promised to come visit again soon!

M R ducks

Saturday we went to Green Meadows petting farm in Kissimmee. We were with a group celebrating a friend's birthday, but since Corban was the only kiddo in our group he got plenty of attention. We all had fun but Corban had a blast getting duded up for the day, riding a pony, milking a cow, picking out his pumpkin from the patch, going on a hayride, and interacting with all sorts of animals! As you can see it provided plenty of picture opportunities!
