September dates

We went to see Planes at the theatre together!

We all went to the family movie night at church to watch Brave.

Corban and I had a beach date
We picked up lunch on the way and had a picnic on the beach!
Then we swam, jumped waves,
made sandcastles and drip castles, buried Corban,
and collected a few shells.
Daddy and Abigail had a museum date!
They went to Young At Art and had a great time (but forgot to take pictures!).
On the way home, Abigail got to pick a flavor of ice cream for dessert that night!

Canada

Our next country to study was Canada!
Inuit carvings
On our last day "in" Canada, we made Canadian Baked Blueberry Dessert

during this time, in science, Corban studied Food Chains, Decomposers/Scavengers,
and the 3 types of consumers
(which is also what we have been learning about in our CC science material!)

Disney on Ice

For Abigail's birthday, she and I went to the Disney on Ice:  Princesses and Heroes show!
We had fun as I helped her get ready with
sparkly make-up, hair and nails.
She wore her new princess dress and tiara.

Beautiful Princess Abigail!
 Aurora
 Cinderella and Jasmine
Snow White
Belle and Tiana
Ariel
Rapunzel

We had fun princess time!  Abigail loved her Ariel cup snowcone, the music, costumes, and watching all the Princesses twirl!

Sailboat

Earlier this year, we won a sailboat cruise ride at the Bethany auction.
It was a 23 ft boat with just our family and the captain.
We went on a 2 hour ride through the Fort Lauderdale intracoastal and had a great time!
Corban really enjoyed steering the boat.
Abigail and Hadassah liked hanging their legs over the side.
