One Year Old!!!

Abigail Kylie Pendrak
September 16, 2009 -- 1 year old
17 pounds -- 28.5 inches

It is hard to believe that our baby girl is already one year old!
This year has passed quickly with so much growth and change.
She has 4 teeth, walks well holding onto things (push toys, laundry baskets, etc.) and is just starting to walk on her own, says "Mama" and "Da" ("Dada" was shortened) intentionally, is cute, fearless, happy, tiny but healthy and strong (probably because she has a big brother) , easy-going, loves to giggle, plays in the water, curious, sweet, eats and sleeps well (through the night and usually 2 naps during the day), beautiful and intelligent!
What a blessing and source of joy Abigail is to our family!

Corban displayed his artistic ability by coloring on his bedroom walls during what was suppose to be nap time!








I came in, saw Corban's decorating, and said, "Corban, what did you do?" and he gently took my face in both his hands, nodded his head, and said, "I know, Mama, I'm sorry."

A boy's life

I have started doing regular "school time" with Corban, which he absolutely loves (maybe because of the M&M rewards!). We do stories, letters, numbers, spelling, bible verse memory, and games.

Sunday night as I tucked Corban into bed for the night, he told me "One day I'm going to marry you Mama." It was so sweet and a moment that I am sure every mom of a little boy treasures! He did clarify yesterday, "I'll marry you when I am 6."
