Horseshoe Bend

It is about a 1.5 mile walk from the parking lot (and this sign!) to the overlook and back.  Asher wasn't feeling well, so he and Daddy only walked part of the trail, while the rest of us went to the end.

Lake Powell

We spent 2 nights at a VRBO house in Page, AZ.  It was a nice to have a couple nights in the same place to sleep, more space to spread out, and ability to wash our laundry.  We went to the grocery store for meals at the house and snacks/picnic to bring out on Lake Powell.  

We rented a boat from the marina for the day and had so much fun exploring a small part of the lake (its huge!) and had a picnic lunch at the UT/AZ "line."  We wore swimsuits but high was 78 and the water was cold for jumping in.  As the afternoon went on, the water got VERY rough and Asher was sick so we headed back.

Zion

Daddy wasn't feeling well that day, so we all rode the bus through the park 

and then Mommy and the children hiked an easy trail half-way back down to a visitor lodge where Daddy was waiting for us.
