Yom Teruah

We went to lunch in the Margaritaville hotel on Hollywood beach- we were seated in at a neat "boat" table!

 

Then we went for a walk along the broadwalk, played some in the water,
and Asher climbed palm trees!

In downtown Hollywood and saw this beautiful sea turtle wall mural

 Back home for our annual apple tasting with dinner and swimming!

While we were outside, Corban discovered 3 monarch chrysalis on his Dragon tree!

September dates

Corban and Mommy went on a brunch date together at
First Watch!
Food was yummy and company was great (conversation and card games while we ate!)

Abigail and Daddy went to Barnes & Noble for their date.  For her birthday, Abigail had received a certificate for a free cookie and gift card (she picked out a card game!)

Hadassah and Daddy went to Chik-fil-a for a breakfast date and then to the dog park to watch with and even play with a few dogs!

Asher and Mommy had a milkshake date this month! 
Asher got a paper toy car to build and then had a yummy "birthday cake" milkshake!

 Mommy and Daddy went to an event with friends this month

And had a dinner date!

Abigail's Birthday Weekend

To celebrate Abigail's birthday- Mommy and Abigail went away for a girl's weekend!  We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Deerfield Beach (where Mommy has stayed for the Rio Women's retreats before)- right on the beach.

We went to lunch near Deerfield Beach pier- sat outside on the patio overlooking the water and listening to live music!

 Then we walked over to the pier and all the way to the end (it was windy!)

When we got back to our room, a beautiful bouquet of flowers (surprise from Daddy!) were waiting!

Weather for the weekend was nice, but very strong current and advisories against swimming in the ocean.  We had fun walking along the beach and at the pool!

Abigail had fun jumping and dancing across the waves coming to shore.

An evening of pedicures, pizza, laughter, and cake!

The next day we had some more pool & beach time before checking out of the hotel and going to Gumbo Limbo nature center- which had a nice long boardwalk, was on the inter-coastal, had lots of aquariums and animals to see, and a turtle rescue/rehabilitation facility!
