April dates

 Every Tuesday night at Plantation's Heritage Park it is Family Night
 with over 25 food trucks!
For our date, Corban and I walked through the food truck area, decided on what we wanted for dinner, had dessert first and then took our food to the playground!

One the way home we stopped at another park for Corban to show me the tadpoles he and Daddy had discovered on a bike ride!

Abigail and Daddy will be performing in the Daddy/Daughter dance 

at Abigail's ballet recital in May!  

This month their dates were to dance class to learn their dance!

Classical Conversations

This was our last week of classes of Classical Conversations!

It has been a great year!  

We have been very happy at this campus, made many friends 

and Corban and Abigail both have had wonderful tutors and classmates!

Classical Conversations is an excellent Christian, classical curriculum with an emphasis on memorization of facts (across 6 subjects) at the Foundations stage.  

They meet once a week, in a classroom setting (with a tutor and 8 students) where new material is taught and then we review that material over the week at home.  

Each week they do a science experiment, art lesson and an oral presentation.

Next week, we will meet for yearbook signing, Memory Master testing and a pool party!

Abigail MFW

In January, Abigail began the MFW 1st grade curriculum.  She is doing a great job with the phonics/reading program and is really enjoying the Bible reader and notebook.  

We spent a few weeks on the Creation story, adding to this picture with each day.
