May dates

Corban and Mommy had their date at home this month with a wood burning kit!  After some practice, they made a cheese platter!

Abigail and Mommy did a flip-a-coin date!  After 10 minutes (and a few extra as we kept circling through a neighborhood!), we ended at Walgreens where we walked around for awhile and then picked out a card game!

Hadassah and Daddy made dinner together!  It was yummy!

Asher and Daddy went to Costco together for ice cream and errands!

Daddy wasn't able to do the Daddy/Daughter dance with the girls this year, so he took Abigail and Hadassah out for brunch the morning of their Gala!

rain, rain, rain, rain
Between all the rainy days this month, we found one perfect for a bike ride to the park!
Corban way up in a tree and
Asher doing a super job on the bike ride!

Hadassah has the cutest missing teeth smile!  (every week this month one of the children has lost a tooth- lots of ice cream parties!)

Abigail and Hadassah had a great time at a friend's birthday party (it was an aerial acrobatic class!)
Mother's Day

Waiting for their turn at evaluations, the girls played with chickens (Abigail fell out of our mango tree the day before, Daddy took her for x-rays of her left arm/elbow, but all was fine except for the big scratch on the right).

Mommy spoke at RioWomen's bible study on John 11 "I am the Resurrection and the Life"

Selah Gala

Abigail and Hadassah's dance classes at Selah Academy finished for the school year and the Gala was beautiful!  Ms. Brittany has an amazing dance program and she, Ms. Mackie and Ms. Maria are wonderful teachers.

Abigail did 2 ballet pieces (Barcarolle and Get Me to the Church on Time),
modern (You are my Sunshine), jazz (Walking on Sunshine),
and tap (Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy)!

Hadassah did ballet (Turkish March),
jazz (Mr. Postman) and tap (Respect)!

May school

The girls finished My Father's World Adventures in U.S. History (Bible/History/Science)!
Abigail finished her Spelling C book, First Language Lessons book 3,
American Adventures Book 2, and Horizons Math 3 (book 2).
Hadassah finished her Horizons Math 1 (book 2), Explode the Code 4 workbook
and Pathway Reader/Workbook for More Days Go By

Abigail and Hadassah had their evaluations with Mrs. AnnMarie again this year-
she reviews their work from the school year and gives them a placement test
(both girls were at or above grade level in every area!).
We have had a great homeschool year together!

Corban's last 2 weeks at Equip included IOWA testing in the morning, the last day they had a campus party at lunch and then most of his class went to an escape room together!  Equip has been a great program for Corban this year - he has done really well (A+ in all 5 classes!) and enjoyed it!

Last day of SAINTS!

Badges Ceremony for American Heritage Girls

Abigail crossed the bridge to move from Tenderheart to Explorer

Both girls had a fun year being together as Tenderhearts and earned several badges!

For the summer, Corban has decided to work through the BJU pre-algebra math curriculum and will continue to do the space science curriculum.
Hadassah was eager to start Explode the Code 5 and was so excited to get her Horizons math 2, that she will work on both some over the summer.
Corban, Abigail and Hadassah will continue their weekly music lessons with Mr. Charles through the summer.
