August dates

Corban and Mommy's date was to the pet store to pick out a new fish for Corban!  He chose a male Beta and named him Finn.  On the way home we got fries at Chick-fil-a.

Abigail and Mommy had a shopping date together!  We went to the mall and Abigail had fun looking around, trying things on, and picking out a body spray at Bath & Body Works!

Hadassah and Daddy tried to have a library date, but since it was already closed they went to Publix together!
 

Asher and Daddy went to Home Depot together and then added wiper fluid and checked the van (Asher loves his little green folding ladder!).

 We did another Publix Cooking School classes with the Shermans and Fauxs.

August school

Corban is in 7th grade!

He will be taking classes through Equip Education.On Tuesday's, he will take Latin II, Life Science, 8th grade Writing/Grammar, and Literature.On Thurday's, he will take Algebra I.At home, he started Christ From Creation as a bible study on his own (he'll review chapters with Daddy).

Abigail is in 4th grade!

She will be using MFW Exploring Countries and Cultures (bible, history, science)

Asher is in Pre-K!
He will be using the My Fathers World Kindergarten curriculum,
Kumon mazes and some math workbooks.

All 4 children started SAINTS!
Asher has been looking forward and talking about starting all summer and was super excited about his first day (and getting his own shirt!)!  They go Monday afternoons from 1-4.

The girl's history/geography this month has been about the earth and learning about maps.  This orange activity shows the changes made when going from a globe to a map.

Asher started with the days of Creation this month and did a great job with learning about each day!

Backyard update

This month we've had alot of work done in our backyard!
The brick/tile surface was replaced with large travertine tiles.

After flying back from AR, Mommy and the children spent a night with the Forman family before driving home!

Coastal Partners had a back-to-school family day- which went really well- and the children all had a great time!  The Sacco family, whom we met at Club Med Cancun, were on vacation in FL and able to come to the party!  Abigail was excited to have time with her pen-pal Julia.
