Miami City Ballet intensive

Abigail's summer intensive with MCB began the last week of June, she is in level I with classes M-F from 4:30-6:30 for 5 weeks (until end of July).  Every day she has one ballet class and the other class varies (jazz, stretch, yoga).  She is really enjoying it!

This pretty glass mosaic was on the side of a bank we passed each day and was perfect for pictures!

There were observation classes on the last day, Mommy, Hadassah and Ms. Brittany got to watch Abigail in a ballet class.

Some days we had a babysitter at the house for the other children to stay home, but often they would come along for the afternoon (leave our home 3:15 and get back about 7:30).  We walked down to Lincoln Road for Starbucks or  Slushies a few days but spent most of our time in the great children's area of the library right across from MCB.

June dates

Corban and Daddy went on a Sea Turtle Walk at night with MODS!

Abigail and Mommy went to the Plantation library (where she got her own library card for completing our at home reading chart!) and then to MODS science museum!

Hadassah and Mommy went to the Nova Art Museum- the first Tuesday of every month they have free admission and offer special children's programs!  We saw a Frank Stella exhibit (huge, brightly colored, abstract pieces) and then got to do some of our own colorful pieces in his style.

Asher and Daddy went to get haircuts for their date, but Asher wanted to invite Corban with them and so the 3 had boy time together!

Couples date with our community group to a Publix cooking school dinner!

Abigail and Hadassah started "Sister's Mango Clean-up Service"- offering to clean and bag ripe good and/or bad mango.  They passed out flyers on our street and one over and were very excited to get their first customer!

Mommy went to the MOMs steering team retreat in Lake Placid the first weekend of June- great time planning, praying and laughing with friends!
 "someone" sent these beautiful flowers to the steer team for the weekend!

Mommy went through bins of the children's outgrown clothes with the goal of clearing out 1/2 to give to friends with little ones.
