July dates

Corban and Mommy went to Barnes & Noble for their date!  Corban had a coupon for a birthday treat and had completed his page for their summer reading program to pick out a free book.

Abigail and Hadassah had a double date with Daddy at the Plantation daddy/daughter dance!

Daddy surprised the girls with flowers for their date!

 Asher and Mommy went to the mall for their date!  After playing on the playground, we got a coconut water and then after Asher decided that while it was fun to watch them prepare to hold it wasn't much of a "treat" and he was still hungry so he got a chik-fil-a kids meal!

 

Daddy was able to come down to Miami Beach one afternoon.  While Abigail was at MCB, Mommy and Daddy had a date!

July was a busy month, with camps and driving to Miami Beach but there was also some relaxing pool time!

Corban finished our family summer reading chart and got his own Broward County Library card!

Mommy:  "Asher, did you just put your pajamas on over your clothes?"Asher (with proud smile):  "ummm- hmmm, now I'm all ready for sleeping and for tomorrow!"

13th Anniversary

We had a day date planned to celebrate our anniversary, but Daddy surprised Mommy and had arranged for Ms. Brittany to spend the night with the children!  So after going out to brunch on Las Olas, we went to the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach and spend the afternoon at the pool and beach.  We went out to a delicious dinner (the restaurant had a neat jelly-fish tank to watch!)- Chris had packed everything and dropped off bags at the hotel before we arrived and had ordered the beautiful orchid arrangement for the room!  We were given a suite with a wrap around balcony facing the ocean and when we returned from dinner there was a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for us!  It was such a wonderful getaway surprise to have that time together, and the children loved their time at home with Ms. Brittany!

Sailing Camp

Corban went to 2 weeks of sailing camp at LYC! 
He and his friend Samuel, did the 420 program (larger 2-3 person sailboat) and had a great time!

Corban is 12!
