Eiffel Tower

We had a picnic lunch at Jardin du Trocadero (on the other side from our picnic the day before) beside the Eiffel Tower.

We had lift tickets to the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower.  On the 2nd level, we saw tickets available to the 3rd level and we were able to go all the way to the top!  The 2nd level was better for views over the city but the elevator ride to the 3rd was neat.  As soon as we stepped out on the deck of the 3rd level we saw a crack of lighting!  We went to the enclosed level and looked out from there and read about some of the history of the tower.  

Champagne toast for Mommy and Daddy and special chocolate macroons for the children.

We went to the playground next to where we had eaten lunch.

 

We went to Napoleon's Tomb and War Museum, but only walked in the courtyard and saw the knights armory room of the museum.  Hadassah and Asher slept the whole time!
