One morning, I took Asher with me to walk the "tidal basin" and see the memorials. The children had enjoyed seeing the other monuments but we didn't think they would be as excited about this longer walk and it was a great time for me to see them when it was quieter. And we were back at the hotel to have a late breakfast all together!
