Slow and Steady
I have not taken as many pictures of our school projects/crafts the last few weeks. We studied nests with the letter N and the 5 senses with the letter U (for us). 
For the letter T, Corban learned how to draw a turtle, while Abigail did a color-by-number turtle, and then we made these cute turtles and ate turtles as a special snack!

REAL
We went to the mall yesterday as a family (possibly the first time that Chris has been since we have had children!).
The boys went into a department store, while the girls wandered out in the mall.
After we were out of ear shot, Corban asked Chris, "can we go look at jewelry for Mommy, because she would really like it." Corban looked at all kinds and colors of jewelry before deciding on this beautiful ring.

I'm sure it wasn't very expensive...but it is most assuredly REAL!

It is neat how much Abigail has learned just listening to Corban's school time.
She loves to be included!
After Corban's first week at CC, and hearing me review his material with him, Abigail sat down next to me one evening and said "Ok, ask me." I didn't know what she meant at first but then as she began to say the history sentence about Columbus I realized that she had been learning the song too and wanted to be quizzed!
