We arrived at the St. Regis Aspen (welcomed with a glass of champagne!) and just after we got to our room a bottle of champagne, balloons, and chocolates were delivered!
We had been upgraded to a wonderful residence suite and our room butler unpacked our bags for us when we arrived! He also ironed a couple of Chris's dress shirts and shined his shoes.
It was a VERY nice hotel - our first time at a St. Regis -

We got to experience both of their "rituals" (which happen at every St. Regis) of champagne sabering and Bloody Marys (they tell the history of the Astor family in NYC original hotel).
Later in our stay, our butler surprised us with another plate of chocolates and gave us day passes for the spa on property, where we relaxed in the sauna/hot and cold pools (separate) and waterfall pool and oxygen lounge together!
We saw the property's dog
"brand ambassador" named Kitty a few times!
