The house was build elevated on concrete "stilts," with main level (kitchen/living/2 bedrooms), then stairs up to a loft bedroom and then stairs from there up to a top deck- a wonderful place to look out over the island, watch sunrises and sunsets, and see out to both the gulf and bay sides on the island.
We drove the ATV's to the state park for an ice cream treat and to rent kayaks
Daddy and the children tried fishing several times but never really caught anything
