UCF

We visited University of Central Florida!  The college was still on summer break, so it was quieter and some buildings were closed, but Daddy enjoyed walking around campus again and Corban was able to get a student ID (he will be taking a dual enrollment class through UCF this fall)!

Wekiwa Springs

We spent a few days in Orlando before picking up Kyon from training and driving home.  One day we went to Wekiwa Springs - it stays a constant temperature of 72 year round and expels 43 million gallons of water a day!  There is a nice swimming area and then we explored part of the river by canoe.

Mt. Elbert

A weather delay caused us to miss our connecting flight which meant that we spent a night
in Dallas (only in TX a longhorn/hide chair in the hotel lobby!). 
The next day, we met Mom and Dad in Little Rock with the children
(who all had a great week at "Camp Werneke") and flew back to Florida!

Maroon Bells

After relaxing in the spa, we borrowed ebikes from the St. Regis
and rode out to Maroon Bells.  It is a beautiful area! 
We rode up the mountain pedaling at 10-15 mph, then hiked out to Maroon Lake,
and then rode back (with breaks on) at 25-30 mph!

Back to the hotel to get ready for walk around Aspen and dinner!

The Grottos

The next morning, we drove out to the Grottos and hiked this pretty area - with waterfalls, running stream throughout, rocks/boulders, trails through wooded areas, and caves!
