rain, rain, rain

 Heavy rain for two days- caused flooding in our backyard and street/front yard!

Shop class

Corban started a 6-week shop class!  They meet each Monday for 4 hours and work with a different medium each time (iron, leather, wood, soap, ceramics).  He has really had fun with the class and made some beautiful things!

back to Marando Farms

Ms. Grace joined us for brunch and after we took her to Marando Farms to see the
petting farm (and to meet the new twin baby goats!)

Art day

We went to the Las Olas Art Festival- we always enjoy walking around the outdoor fair.  There was good attendance of booths/artists but very low crowds at the art festival and restaurants on Las Olas.  

Hadassah was excited about a photographer's pieces of the horses of Chincoteague, and bought one of the pictures for her room!

After brunch and the art festival, we went to the Art Museum!  We were happy it was open (science museum is not) but found it was only our family and one other couple.

Abigail did a silent version of her modern dance in the long empty gallery!
