February dates

We went out for a fun Valentines date with friends!
Our church offered a "date night" this month--
pizza, movie and crafts for the children while parents have a date night!
Together with the Shermans and the Sheriffs, we had a great dinner out!

We went to the Plantation Equestrian Center and for the children's "share-a-pony" program!  Abigail had a great time riding and we had a fun morning together!

We went to the Bethany Auction & Gala-
this years theme was the Roaring '20's and it was a fun night!

Abigail's birthday

I had a great birthday month!
The children excitedly celebrated with me each day, asking what we will do to celebrate that day (knowing that it often includes sharing a treat!).
These were the BEST gifts!

And a wonderful dinner out with this handsome man!

Chris made me a chocolate house!
It was through a neat program offered at his office, and he constructed this delicious home complete with 4 little bears
and taffy flowers.

January dates

We decided, for 2015, to change the "date jar" that we have for the children.  

This year we are going to alternate dates for Corban, Abigail and Hadassah 

with a date with one child and both parents and then one-on-one dates.  

This month was Corban's date
with Mommy and Daddy and we went to
Off the Wall!  

We all had fun jumping in the trampoline rooms,

 climbing the rock wall,

playing laser tag,

playing arcade and video games,

and picking out prizes with the tickets earned.

It was a super fun and active date and we both had a great time spending the afternoon with just Corban!

Chris gave me a giftcard to Plated- we got our first box and had a couple of fun at home dates, cooking the meal together and then enjoying dinner!

sizzler

Corban had his first Sizzler (8 and under) swim meet since joining SwimFast!

It was a fun meet and Corban did a great job!  

He swam 25m in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.  

Corban won his heat in butterfly!

One day, Corban told us that it was "national popcorn day."  
That evening, Daddy surprised the children by creatively inventing the 1st ever 
Pendrak Popcorn Pentathlon
