Mall Walkers

Corban is taking an acting class once a week
and the children's theatre is in the mall.
So while Corban is in his "Jellybean Players" class, the girls and I look at the costume displays, walk around the mall, and (Abigail's favorite) try on shoes!

Year End Celebration

On Saturday, our Classical Conversations community had its end of year celebration. Corban was recognized as a Memory Master and recited the first 12 elements of the periodic table (by number, element and mass) in front of everyone. He was awarded a certificate and a Memory Master shirt.
Corban was one of six students that earned Memory Master this year (out of the 75 students at his school) and the next youngest was twice Corban's age!
Corban has done a fantastic job this year and we are so very, very proud of him!

Spring Break

With CC finishing last week, I decided to make this week our spring break!
We all enjoyed a week off from structured school time and
had fun relaxing, playing and being silly!
We still have several weeks left in the My Fathers World curriculum and plan to continue working through that material and finish in the end of May.

Strawberry Fields

Tuesday, we went on a field trip and met with other families from our CC group at The Girls Strawberry U-pick!

We picked strawberries,

and tomatoes, saw lots of animals (including baby swans),

took funny pictures,
went on a train ride,

had a picnic lunch and enjoyed some ice cream!

Corban drew this picture on the back of his handwriting page
