Frost Science Museum

On the 1st day of Sukkot, we had a fun family day riding the Brightline train down to Miami and then going to the Frost Science Museum!

We had never been before and it is a nice, really big museum that had much to see!

The observation deck looks over the park where Corban did trapeze for his birthday!

September dates & feasts

We decided not to do individual dates with the children the month- instead with the fall feasts and our trip to Club Med we did a lot of special family time together!
On Yom Teruah we did our annual apple and honey tasting!

On the first day of Sukkot, we took the Brightline train to Miami and then went to the Frost Science museum!

We went out for a dinner date during Sukkot!

We went out one evening with the Shermans to an escape room (we escaped!) and dinner.

Abigail is 10!

Last sleep as a 9 year old and room filled with balloons to wake up to!
Birthday Brunch at YOLO after church
Afternoon of swimming in our new pool- it was the first time we'd been able to get in since the patio/pool were redone!
Abigail didn't want a birthday cake, she wanted a birthday ice cream sundae party!
It was delicious!

Abigail got to pick out her first pet!
It is an orange, Beta fish that she named Dandelion (Dandi for short!).

more September pics

brunch after church
A mama duck with her seven ducklings came to our house every morning for several days.  The children we thrilled to watch from the front window, chase them, catch and hold them!

Orchids growing on the back porch in bloom!

Hadassah lost another tooth!
with Sarah and Beth at the MOMs meeting

Mommy went to the Rio Women's Retreat for a weekend (it was held at a nice hotel in Deerfield Beach again)- beautiful view from the room and flowers from the husbands for the weekend!

While Mommy was away, it was "Daddy Fun Weekend" at home!  Together the children came up with a list of things to do for the weekend.

September school

This month, our school scheduled filled in some more with t
he girls beginning dance with Selah Academy
(Abigail is taking Jazz II, Ballet II, and Modern II
and Hadassah is taking Ballet I and Modern I on Tuesday
and Abigail is taking Ballet II and Pre-pointe on Thursday),
Corban, Abigail and Hadassah are all taking classes at IMACS on Wednesday mornings,
and Abigail's CBT rehearsals on Saturday afternoons have begun!
Abigail and Hadassah finished their MFW Exploring Country and Cultures world intro by making a globe cake before moving onto study the United States for two weeks.

They sewed their own mini-patch quilt

We finished by celebrating with an American meal at the end- cheeseburgers, macaroni and cheese, melon, chips, and apple and cherry pies for dessert!
The girls decorated the table and made invitations.

Corban's Life Science class at Equip
Asher is having so much fun and doing great with his MFW Kindergarten curriculum!
In September, he learned about S/sun, M/moon, and L/leaf.
We made (and ate!) oreos to represent the cycle of the moon!
