Royal Poinciana starting to bloom

Abigail and Hadassah started "Sister's Mango Clean-up Service"- offering to clean and bag ripe good and/or bad mango.  They passed out flyers on our street and one over and were very excited to get their first customer!

Mommy went to the MOMs steering team retreat in Lake Placid the first weekend of June- great time planning, praying and laughing with friends!
 "someone" sent these beautiful flowers to the steer team for the weekend!

Mommy went through bins of the children's outgrown clothes with the goal of clearing out 1/2 to give to friends with little ones.

Father's Day

Daddy took all the children to a fun Father's Day event through the city of Plantation!  They each built and painted wooden cars.

Ocean Explorers Camp

Corban did a week of Ocean Explorers Camp, from 9-5 every day with 1 day at the science museum, 3 days at the FAU beach campus, and 1 day split between the museum and Birch state park.  The camp was only for 7th and 8th grade students and Corban's good friend Samuel was with him.  He had a great time!  They dissected a squid, had a behind scenes tour of the otters, explored various beach ecosystems, heard about shark tagging and migration, built and raced a solar boat (Corban's team was 2nd!) and more!

gymnastics/parkour

Hadassah has expressed interest in gymnastics for several months, but we told her it would need to wait until summer.  Mommy found a gymnasium close to our home that offers homeschool classes each week in both gymnastics and parkour!  

Every Wednesday this month we have gone!  Hadassah has tried both of the classes, Asher really likes the parkour class and Corban tried the parkour.  We also have been meeting friends for the classes and then to go to the park for picnic lunch and playground time after!

library time

Corban, Abigail and Hadassah are all very excited about summer reading programs!  

We gave them each one to complete at home (different number of books for each of them but across various types of books), and they are taking part in the Broward County Libraries program, the Planation Library program, and the one offered through Barnes & Noble!
Asher also enjoys going to the library, so we all have been going at least twice a week!

Hadassah has wanted to participate in the "Wags 'n Tales" program for some time and we were finally able to schedule a time for her to read to a service dog.  She loved it!  She picked out 2 of her favorite books, practiced reading them the days before (even though she knows both well she wanted to be sure she would read them clearly!), and then chose to read Uni the Unicorn to Katy at the YAA library.
