Club Med Cancun

To celebrate Mommy's 40th birthday we went to Club Med Cancun!

Weather was amazing, people were kind, food was yummy, property was beautiful, children's programming was great, and there were so many fun activities!
We all had a GREAT time!

January school

In Bible, we talked about Yeshua as the Lamb, the Vine, and the Head of the Body.

In history, Abigail and Hadassah learned about Eli Whitney and the cotton gin, the Louisiana Purchase, the War of 1812, Robert Fulton and the steam engine, Johnny Appleseed, George Washington Carver, Rosa Parks and Helen Keller.
They studied TN, OH, LA, IN, MS, IL, and AL.

Science- the girls studied animals and plants, and the human body.

Abigail finished book 1 of Horizons Math 3rd grade and began book 2.
Abigail also added additional dance classes (a end Ballet II class and Modern I) on Thursday afternoons (music lessons moved to Friday).

Hadassah finished Explode the Code book 3 and will begin book 4.

We started reading On the Banks of Plum Creek together.

Corban began BJU Space and Earth Science curriculum, he will do it on his own at home as a fun way to continue to learn more about space!

Asher plays hard and sleeps hard (and makes sure all his bed buddies are tucked in!)

We had several ice cream parties this month- Corban, Abigail and Hadassah all lost a tooth! 

After their eye exams, the girls stopped for croissants and talked memories of Paris!

Mommy brought home the balloons from an event and Asher was so excited to find them the next morning!

January dates

We continued our 8th night of Hanukkah gift tradition with the date jar refilled for 2018!

Corban and Daddy had a breakfast date at Chik-fil-a!

Abigail and Daddy...

Hadassah and Mommy went to Home Depot for a building project date!  Hadassah built, painted, and made a perpetual calendar.

Asher and Mommy also went to Chik-fil-a for their date this month!  After dropping the can off for maintenance check they walked over, Asher got a kids meal- which included a fun puppy game that they played!- and a milkshake.
