camps

Hadassah went to a week of VBS at Plantation Community Church!
She had a great time with lots of fun learning and playing with her friends!

The same week, we had our Classical Conversations practicum.
It is a 3-day event filled with lots of teaching and encouragement for parents and fun camps for the children!  Corban was in Science/Writing camp and really enjoyed learning about different kinds of shells and marine life.  Abigail had fun painting in Geography/Art camp and she liked the children's cross-fit athletic program each day!  Hadassah was at VBS in the morning and then at play camp in the afternoon,  it was a long day for her and she was ready for a nap when she got home!  Asher did super in the nursery!

We went to dinner and the Mermaid Show at the Wreck Bar!

The restaurant is shaped like a sunken ship with aquarium tanks of fish along the wall and one wall with windows to under the water of the hotel's pool.
Just as we finished dinner, the mermaid show began.
It was a fun show and Abigail had a great time watching all the mermaids!

SwimFast

Abigail joined the SwimFast swim team
(that Corban swims with) this month!

There was a Sizzler meet and Corban and Abigail both swam! Corban swam all 4 strokes and Abigail swam backstroke and freestyle.
The team also had 2 mini-meets this month.

flamingo nursery

We went to a meet-up group/playdate at Flamingo Nursery.

The children fed koi fish, painted a pot and picked a plant for it, had a tasting of apples and breads with honey, guided tour of the nursery and fun with friends!
