(GREAT) Kid's Day

Saturday morning, Corban declared it "Kid's Day"!  
The girls quickly agreed 
and they made a list of all the things they wanted to do for the day!

 we went to the beach

 and the playground

they each wanted one of Mommy's shirts to wear for nap/rest time

(they didn't really stay up all night, but did get to stay up late watching a movie!)

After seeing these 2 a couple months ago, 

we have regularly seen (and heard!) peacocks around our house!

       One afternoon, I heard a loud call and went out on our balcony to find one on our neighbors roof!  It later jumped up to the next house.  

why did the peacock cross the road?  
To walk down the sidewalk!

Earth

As we began the MFW Exploring Countries and Cultures curriculum, 

we spent the first 2 weeks on the earth as a whole.  

Corban has additional geography, maps and history, 

but the girls enjoy joining him on the art projects!
