Granny and Abigail made sugar cookies

Inside games

When we weren't playing in the snow,
we had plenty of things to do in the house!
water paint
 baby dolls
puzzles

monopoly
books- Hadassah wanted to hear the same peek-a-boo book over and over!
 playing her own version of
Old Maid with Granny
Grandma asked me to take this picture after commenting that it had been a long time since there were little shoes all in a row in her house

SNOW much fun

The weather showed that this area's average snow for this time of year is 4.7",
during our visit there was 20+"!
It was Corban, Abigail and Hadassah's first time to see snow and there was LOTS!

bundled up and ready to go outside
1st time to play in snow
making snowballs
They all had so much fun playing in the snow! But it was definitely Corban that enjoyed it the most!  He went out to play twice each day and asked again and again when it was time to go back out.  He only came in once on his own, every other time I had to tell him it was time to come back inside!
icicles
footprints from Hadassah and me walking in the snow

snow angels
Hadassah found it was fun (and warmer) to watch from inside
Corban's snowman

snow fort/igloo
the next day Abigail wanted to build a snowman too

The Show-Me State

The children and I went to visit my Grandma (their Granny) and Uncle Randy in Missouri!  We had a great trip, lots of fun and made many wonderful memories!
track suit ready!

"you may now turn on your
electronic approved devices"
(and lots of snacks!)
Whiteman AFB in Missouri is the only permanent base for the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber, which we saw doing a practice flight one day

One afternoon, we went to the Mennonite/Amish area to a store and lunch.  We saw a couple horse and buggy (Abigail thought they were "silly"
and they should just use a car!).
