Nine Months

Hadassah Pearl
9 months
19 lbs 8 oz
28 in

9 months is a special month-a-birth-a-day because it means that I have been carrying Hadassah in my arms as long as I carried her inside me!
It seems like that time has gone by so very quickly. Like just yesterday I was still pregnant but then it also seems that she has always been a part of our family. It is hard to remember an "us" without her!
She is healthy and growing, eating (grains, fruits, veggies and "Mommy milk")
and sleeping (2 good naps and all night) well!
She said her first official "Mama" on December 20,
(even Daddy couldn't deny it) it was clear what she meant as she followed after me pushing her toy! And right now she is definitely Mama's girl, she has started to show some stranger anxiety and be a bit clingier. We are almost always together but I love the way that she looks at me with the biggest smile every time she sees me!
Her 4th tooth (1 on top and 3 on bottom) is coming in now.
She is such a happy, giggly, content, calm, sweet baby girl!
I was out with just her one day and 3 people asked me if she is always this good and I honestly said yes. I don't know if it is because she is the third child that she is more calm and relaxed or I am?!
Hadassah is super quick at crawling but prefers to get around by walking behind a push toy (or laundry basket or chair or anything else she can get to scoot across the floor!). She has also begun to stand on her own, a couple of times a day but only for a few seconds before sitting back down. She loves splashing in water, swinging at the park and opening all of the cabinet doors!
Abigail loves being a big sister and is very good at watching out for Hadassah, but it is Corban that she just lights up for! He is so patient and sweet to his little sister and Hadassah will just giggle as she plays with him.

Frosty

It is December and next week will officially be winter,
so this week we had some fun with snowmen!

we made sparkly snow playdough and then snowmen

We made winter pictures and then frost painted them

We also read all the winter/snowman books we could find at the library and did these roll-a-snowman and blind snowman games!
This week Corban completed his math curriculum! It is suppose to be for the whole kindergarten year but he has enjoyed it and moved through at a faster pace. He will start some new math material, along with his other curriculum's, in January!

It's Soccer Time!

Corban has started soccer!
He is playing in the 4-5 year old league at the park near our home. They practice one evening a week and then usually have games on Saturday.
His team is the Barracuda's and color is orange!
Which means that I am a Soccer Mom!
A mini-van driving, soccer mom. What a great adventure! :)

Corban was so excited to pick #5
"like how old I am!"

Abigail loves putting on her shin guards and grabbing her "wollyball to play tennis"...which means practice soccer! She even calls Daddy "Coach" while she dribbles and kicks along the sidelines.
