We had a fun, busy weekend! Saturday morning, we went to the beach (we love living so close!). The weather and water were perfect!
In the afternoon, we went to the Museum for a pirate event! Corban is excited about all things pirate right now, so he had a great time! He wore his pirate costume and Chris got dressed up too (even though it wasn't really a costume event!!). Abigail wanted to join in, but didn't want to wear a pirate eye patch only all pink!
She is full of smiles, giggles, cooing and gurgles!!
Hadassah is wearing size 1 diapers and starting to wear 3 month size clothes. She likes bath time, the sound of water, to be swaddled with her arms out, the swing and to be held.
Corban LOVED this swing too when he was a baby! Hadassah has discovered the sea creatures rotating above here head and Corban is identifying them for her.
She sleeps really well! Usually only waking once during the night just for a feeding and takes two long naps during the day. Hadassah prefers to sleep on her tummy or on me! Awake she is very alert and watchful, has great neck control and likes to push/stand with her legs.
We are still doing "school time" at home each day (we do Language, Math, Logic, Bible, and Art), and have started this countdown to Corban's first day of preschool!Abigail has discovered the fun of drawing circles and is covering color pages (and my grocery list, to-do list, and any other paper she can find!) with them!
"castle" Abigail built
The transition to three children has gone smoothly in part because Corban and Abigail can (and like to!!) play really well together. They truly are one another's best friend!
Abigail requests "girl time" before bed. While Chris tucks Corban in downstairs, I lay Hadassah with their heads together on Abigail's pillow and we stare, smile, and talk to each other.
I was again spoiled by Chris and the littles with a special Mother's Day of doughnuts and flowers, church and exploring a farmers market, cards and gifts (including these cute hand print tulips--I'll share Corban's interview later!), and lots of cuddling and family time!
I LOVE being Corban, Abigail and Hadassah's Mommy!! I am abundantly blessed and loved well!
