Over the Rainbow

This week we have been learning about RAINBOWS,

colors, and the Noah's ark story.

We started Monday morning with rainbow milk for breakfast!

Tuesday, Corban painted a rainbow with watercolor!

Wednesday, we made this yummy recipe for fun
rainbow cupcakes!

which also have a pretty tie-dye pattern!

Thursday, Abigail did a colors puzzle and we read color books!

Today, we made fingerprint pictures with acrylic!

And tomorrow, Corban and Abigail will get this fun treat!

Last week, our plans to meet friends changed and instead of canceling the sitter Chris and I decided to have a date night! I was so excited that I quickly made little option cards for that evening and then surprised Chris with a "choose-your-own-adventure" date! He got to choose 2 activities, 1 place for dinner, and 1 place for dessert during our date.
First we went to the Dollar Tree and each got $1 to pick out something for each other. Chris won for most creative with a can of peas and a can of carrots, telling me in a Forrest Gump voice: "we go together like peas and carrots!"
Then we had dinner, followed by walking along Las Olas looking at art galleries, before finishing with ice cream at Kilwins!
