Last of the 20's

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!
How did we celebrate such a FANTASTIC husband and dad?
With some of his favorite things:
activities (time with family and playing games),
eating (cake, deviled eggs, Pendrak muffins),
presents, singing, and lots of LOVE!

arcade games!

Abigail wanted to try the horse too, but was not happy about it when it started to gallop

talking to Chuck E.

After Chuck E. Cheese's, the girls went home while Chris and Corban (who is officially 4 1/2 now!) went to see Hubble 3D at the Imax theater. They said it was so neat and their favorite part was watching an astronaut make a floating sandwich!
Then we finished the birthday extravaganza at Chili's for dinner!

We love you!!

With a little Salt & Lime

We started Chris's birthday celebration on Thursday with dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant! It didn't go quite as planned (we got rained out of our first table on the patio) but it was still a fun night of singing, sombrero's and guacamole!

Out and About

Sunday, we headed to Las Olas Blvd., walked through the art festival again and then had lunch outside at Cheesecake Factory where we could still see the art booths and people watch (I think we saw as many dogs being pushed in strollers as children!).
Then we walked along the Riverfront listening to live jazz music as we made our way to the science museum,

where we had ice cream,

and then went inside for the "rocket launch" and to look at the space/planets section
(Corban is very interested in all things space right now!).

Abigail and her new tricycle!
She likes pushing it herself, having us push her, ringing the bell, choosing which toys to bring along in the back basket,
and sometimes even pedaling herself!

Rocket Man

In the afternoon, we walked around the Las Olas art festival. These huge, moving head animals were the children's favorite!
