From Daddy:  I have such an amazing, talented, and artistic wife that my writing doesn't get featured very often on the blog.  But today, Hadassah's 3rd birthday, I felt compelled to say a few words...
IT'S HAPPENING TOO QUICKLY!  Where is all the time going?
Hadassah is 3?!  Hadassah isn't suppose to be three-- she is a funny two year old toddler, and more than a little part of me wishes she could stay that way awhile longer.  I love each of my children with an intensity that I never could have imagined before I met them, but two year old 'Dassah was something special.
While I look forward to her becoming an articulate, beautiful, charismatic, delightful adult, for now, I love the fact that she slurs and stumbles through her "ABCD's".  She is growing up too quickly.  It seems like daily there is a new change -- she'll do something more like a child, and less like a toddler.  When she says "Abigail" it now has three syllables instead of two.  She asks to watch Magic School Bus instead of "Maggy coo-bus".  When she jumps, she actually gets both feet off the ground!
And while I know there is so much to look forward to, I worry what I will lose next.
I'm firmly convinced that God made toddlers to be so incredibly cute in order to preserve our species -- if they weren't so adorable they never would survive to three years old!
Toddlerhood has been a special time in the Pendrak household for each child.  Corban was the brave stoic; Abigail was fierce and passionate; and Hadassah has definitely been the funny one!
I put this video together to celebrate my funny little girl.
It is with very mixed emotions that I say, "Happy Birthday Hadassah"

Ballerina party

Before everyone arrived, we gave Hadassah a ballet leotard and tights
and I put her hair up in a bun (with some pink body glitter for sparkle!),
when she looked in the mirror she said, "I am a REAL ballerina, like Abigail!"
We asked Ms. Brittany to teach a mini-ballet class to the girls during the party.
Hadassah was thrilled!
For months she has been saying, "When I am 3 I can do ballet." She was so excited to get to do a real class, with Ms. Brittany, in our home, and with her friends!  Hadassah was beaming the entire time the girls stretched, twirled, jumped and danced.

Rodeo Man

Chris spent most of the week in Houston, TX for meetings.
While there, he went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo one evening!
