*just noticed from these pictures it looks like we spend alot of time in our pj's! Which isn't really true, but is part of the fun of homeschooling :)

Cutie Patootie

Now that Hadassah is one, I will stop doing the month-a-birth-a-day updates
(click on each of those to go back and see some!).
But there will still be plenty of Hadassah highlights!

The water table has been a source of HOURS of fun on the porch! It was a gift for Hadassah, but everyone is enjoying (including Mommy when they are all happily splashing!).

Memory Master

Classical Conversations has an optional Memory Master designation,
which requires the student to memorize all the information for the year and be able to recite it at the end of year.
Since he started in August, Corban has set this big goal for himself-
which is even more an accomplishment as it is his first year in CC and he is 5 years old (children up to 6th grade would be required to master the same information). We have spent alot of time going over the information again and again together, but I have loved being his teacher and am so thankful that we are homeschooling!
Corban went through all the information with his two tutors and then this Friday, he met with the Director for a final proofing of material and is now officially a Memory Master!
We are SO proud of Corban! He has worked hard and done a fantastic job this year!

Classical Conversations

This week was the last week of the school year for
Corban's Classical Conversations class.
It has been a great experience for our whole family and I have been very happy with the curriculum. Corban has excelled, been challenged, and had lots of fun with the friends in his class!

Each week, Corban's tutors (Ms. Karina and Ms. Susan) go over the new material for the week, the class does a science experiment and art project, and the children do a presentation.

Abigail has lots of fun in the nursery program with Miss Amanda and looks forward to going to "my school" every week!

Date with a Princess

Saturday, I helped Abigail get ready with butterflies in her hair and lots of sparkly make-up and surprised her with a princess Aurora dress! She came down the stairs with a huge smile, so excited to show Daddy!

Daddy then surprised Abigail by taking her first to get her first "real" manicure! Chris said everyone at the salon thought Abigail was adorable and the woman picked her up and carried her to the chair and then they sat quietly together (Abigail was too shy to say anything and the woman didn't speak English!). After carefully looking at all the polishes she chose the brightest pink and later nodded excitedly when asked if she would like flowers added to her thumbs!

Then they headed to Chik-fil-a to share a chocolate milkshake!

Chris picked up sushi (for himself) on the way home, but Abigail said that since it was their date night she wanted to eat some too!

Chris and I also went on a date last week to the
MODS Wine & Culinary Celebration!
