Funny Guy

There were so many funny pictures of Corban from the weekend that I had to make a separate post just of him:

4th Anniversary/Pendrak Family BirthdayWe spent 4 days at the Liki Tiki Village enjoying some family fun! Unfortunately, Abigail had a bit of a cold when we left Thursday, Chris was sick while we were there, and Corban came home with a runny nose. But we still had a great time getting a few days away together to celebrate our family!

Just Keep Swimming

This week at swim lessons, Corban worked on treading water, breast ("froggy") stroke, back stroke, kicking with a kickboard, and swimming (crawl) the length of the pool (25 m). Corban is the youngest in his class but loves being in the water and has fun with the other children.

He also has lots of fun with the games: blowing bubbles, "red light/green light" (kicking), "chop, chop, timber" (jumping in), water polo (passing and dribbling with a ball), and diving for rings.

Babygail

Abigail is standing on her own and officially has 2 top front teeth! I have not been able to get a good picture of either yet, but here are some others of our sweet little girl!

Bubbles

This was an activity idea from our church, Corban said Matthew 28:20 ("I am with you always") each time he popped a bubble. He had lots of fun and memorized the verse at the same time!

Happy Birthday Corban!!

Sunday afternoon was Corban's birthday party!

Inside was a Nemo theme (and improv balloon game for the "adults") and the backyard was set up with pools and bounce house for the children.

little unsure of everyone singing "happy birthday" to him!

Thank you to everyone that celebrated Corban's special day with us! He had a blast!

Celebrate Good Times

Sunday was Corban's birthday celebration day! We "woke" him with a cupcake breakfast, singing, and presents!

this is actually how we found Corban and Abigail when we woke that morning...Corban was playing next to Abigail's crib and talking to her, as she played with toys he'd put into the crib and watched him!!

Corban is three!!
Its hard to believe but our son is three years old!
Corban is full of energy, happy, a loving big-brother, healthy, a rough and tumble boy, funny, super smart, strong, talking ALL the time, polite, a bit ornery, sometimes rambunctious, but overall a very sweet little guy! He weighs 32 lbs. and is 37 in. tall.
We are so thankful that he is ours!!

A mover and a shaker

Abigail is on the move!

She likes to cruise from sofa to coffee table, or walk pushing the little chair, and has been standing by herself more often too (but so quickly that I am never able to get a picture of it!).
beautiful (still toothless!!) smile!

Batman and....Robin??

Tuesday was the last day of my summer Bible study and it was dress-up day for the children!!

Eel

Monday Corban started swimming lessons at the Y!
This week he worked on swimming with a kick-board and alone on both his front and back, practicing straight legs for kicking and using arms. He loves being in the water! Corban will have lessons all month (thank you Grandma and PaPa!!), so I will have new swim pictures to post each week.

Corban is in the "Eel" class and did great with his first week!!

We went down to Avon Park for a couple days to celebrate the 4th of July, begin Corban's week of birthday festivities, and enjoy some family time!

Corban and Gary have the same birthday, so it was a double celebration!

"Maybe Corban won't notice if I play with one of his new cars!!"
