Baby Proofed

At seven months Abigail is on the move! She is a quick crawler now and pulling up on everything to stand.

Land Down Under

Abigail likes to crawl into Corban's room to play with his toys and be with him. Today we found her under his bed playing!

Little Mermaid

Yesterday Abigail went swimming for the first time!!
She did great, had fun in the water, and looked adorable in her itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny bikini! We've got two water babies, so today I went back with Corban and Abigail for more swim time.reaching out to splash

all done for today!

Earning his keep

One afternoon instead of taking a nap, Corban was standing in his window because he could see Daddy mowing the backyard!
Chris thought it was so funny that he came in and brought Corban out to "help" him with yard work.

Roy G. Biv

Abigail has continued to do well with eating! We're alternating fruits and vegetables, going through in rainbow color order. She has tried apple, beet, bell pepper, carrot, peach, cantaloupe, sweet potato, mango, squash, banana, spinach and of course, avocado!
Abigail going green!

Good Clean Fun

Now that Abigail can sit up on her own well she is having lots of fun in the bathtub! She and Corban both love splashing in a bubble bath!

Dine like the Disciples

Wednesday evening we had a Passover Seder dinner. We had a house full of friends and family and it was a great time!

Favorite Nephew

Michael is 3 months old now and just as cute as can be! We all love getting to spend time with him on Monday nights while Aunt Jenn and Uncle Mikey get some adult time at their bible study.

Great Great's

This lovely dress was made for Jurelle Clark Moseley (Abigail's great-grandmother) by her mother (Abigail's great-great grandmother)!

Georgia Peaches

Aunt Jackie and Uncle Bill (Chris's great-aunt/uncle) were visiting Florida last week and before they flew home we got to spend an afternoon together.

On the Go

Abigail is sitting up on her own easily now and can also crawl to where she wants to go. But it does take a few steps...
1. Get ready

2. Lean

3. Stand

4. Crawl

5. Lay Down

Playing Possum

Yesterday, Chris found this unwanted guest in our backyard

As he went to move it along, these little ones were underneath

So Happy Together

Corban and Abigail really love one another and it is so cute to watch them interact! Corban is such a good big brother, protective and watchful. And Abigail just loves to watch Corban and be close to him.

notice Corban's neat arrangement of his toys

Music Man

Corban loves to sing and dance along to music. The funny thing is that he has started making requests...Mama Mia, Strawberry Fields, and of course his favorite Ring of Fire (or as he says "Ring of Fire, Cash").

close up of Corban's "sticky hair"!

Camping

Last weekend we went camping with the Espaillat's and Voytenko's. We only spent one night but had so much fun sleeping in tents, sitting around the campfire, and playing games!

it was Abigail's first time camping, and both she and Corban did great!
