Green Thumb

Chris and Corban planted seeds today. They both had fun playing in the dirt and soon we will have fresh basil, lavender, cilantro, hot peppers, and oregano!

Then they caught a lizard and Corban was brave enough to touch it!

the beautiful tabebuia tree in our back yard is full of its yellow blooms right now!

Game Time

Yesterday Corban and I spent some time throwing his football in the back yard. He can't catch yet, but does have a pretty good arm!

Corban got 4 Finding Nemo puzzles from Grandma and Grandpa when they visited and he has so much fun putting them together. Each has 100 pieces so he needs a little help, but he does really well with them and it is definitely a good way to practice sitting still!

Move it, move it

Abigail has started crawling!!
It is not the hands and knees traditional crawl style yet, more a technique that looks like she's swimming on the ground, but the result is still a forward motion!
Last night, I put Abigail down in her room for tummy time on her mat and came back to find her almost under her crib!

look at that long hair!

Day at Disney

Wednesday, Corban had a fun filled day of Disney with Grandma and Grandpa! They started off at Magic Kingdom and then spent the second half of the day at Epcot, riding rides and watching shows all along the way!

Date night!

Last night, my parents watched Corban and Abigail while Chris and I went out to dinner at Capital Grille (with gift cards from our birthdays!). We had a great night out, thanks Mom and Dad!!

Leu Gardens

Monday morning we all went to storytelling time at Leu Gardens and then walked around the gardens for a bit.

Grandma and Grandpa!!

Grandma and Grandpa are visiting and we have been having a great time together! I don't know who is having more fun...them or Corban!

beautiful granddaughter!

Five months

Abigail is 5 months!
12 lbs. 3 oz.
25 in.
Abigail is such a happy baby, full of smiles and she has the cutest giggle! She is a beautiful and healthy little girl. She sucks on her thumb to go to sleep, rolls from her back to tummy and tummy to back, loves to be held but is also content to sit nearby and watch whatever is going on (especially whatever her big brother is doing!). Abigail is a sweet baby!!

Nursing Mothers Room

Summit has a Nursing Mother's Room, which is such a great idea for new mom's to still be able to watch the service on Sunday mornings. A few of Marissa's beautiful encaustic pieces are decorating that space.

Make new friends...

Saturday evening we met my friend Megan at Downtown Disney. It was fun to get to meet one another's families and to finally get to meet her adorable daughter, Natty!

big hug!

A beautiful swan

Saturday afternoon we went to see a ballet production of The Ugly Duckling. It was wonderful, we all enjoyed being outside and Corban

really liked watching the dancers! He hopped on the stage (with some other young children) to "dance" as soon as they were done!

Things you can't get at Costco

Costco does sell Ritz crackers in bulk...but they don't usually come with a Corban in them! He found the box about to be thrown out and decided to do this!

Boy Time

While the Abigail's were in Texas, Chris and Corban spent a few days in Avon Park. Sunday they celebrated the Moseley February birthdays!

Happy Birthday to me!

Yesterday for my birthday, I took Corban and Abigail with me to Epcot. We all had a good time walking around outside and going on some of the rides. And with Disney's birthday promotion and children under 3 free, all we had to pay for was parking!

They gave me a "Happy Birthday Abigail" pin and Abigail a "1st Time" pin Corban liked all the boat rides and of course, seeing Nemo!

Girls Trip

Last Thursday, Abigail and I headed to San Antonio (the land of big hair, cowboy boots, and twangy voices!) for a long weekend. We were back for Kathy and Andy's second wedding and had a great time getting to see friends and celebrate! Abigail did super on both the flights and even though she was a little congested during the trip she was still very good. We had fun on our "Abigail Adventure" and I enjoyed our first mommy/daughter weekend!
